Résumé

This paper focuses on the neurocognitive evolution of adolescents trained in Mandombe writing for 18 months. Results indicate enhanced mental rotation, working memory, and moral reasoning compared to control groups. These findings support the view that symbolic education restores cognitive balance after colonial schooling.
