The USK Journal of Political Science and Epistemology is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal published by Université Simon Kimbangu through CEMA-USK Press. The journal provides a platform for rigorous research in political science, governance, public policy, epistemology, political psychology, and transdisciplinary frameworks relevant to African and global contexts.
Focus and Scope
The journal welcomes:
• empirical and theoretical research in political science;
• epistemological and methodological studies;
• comparative governance and institutional analysis;
• decolonial and critical approaches to knowledge systems;
• public administration and policy reform;
• political psychology and structural analysis.
Open Access Policy
All articles are published under an open-access policy and are freely available to readers worldwide. Authors retain copyright while granting the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute their work.

History
Launched in 1996, currently (2025) undergoing digitalization, the journal forms part of USK’s broader initiative to strengthen the visibility, indexing, and global integration of Congolese and African research output.
